5 Best Social Distancing Items : Part 1

Updated: Apr 15, 2020

From one struggling self isolated person to another, each week I want to share 5 product finds to help my followers get through the boredom, stress, and the anxiety of Coronavirus’ social distancing.

Here are my 5 helpful social distancing items for week 1!

1. Weighted Blanket: Who else besides me struggles with anxiety? Seriously nothing sparks anxiety more than the Coronavirus-- a deathly virus that’s extremely contagious. Weighted blankets are shown to have positive results for serval conditions including anxiety, which is why I bought mine in the first place, and I am so glad I did! This weighted blanket is great for at-home therapy similar to deep-pressure therapy. I always feel more relaxed and sleep way better using my weighted blanket.

2. Enos Hammock: Take social distancing out to your yard for some fresh air! The linked hammock is portable, easy to use, and comfortable. I love to read in my hammock, listen to music, and of course take the best naps. Unfortunately the hammock straps are sold separately! Don't forget to buy them! I linked them here.

3. Exercise bands: My favorite workout accessory! It's so easy to throw a heavy resistance band around your knees to make any workout even more challenging. I promise these bands will make you feel the burn, help grow the booty, and get your heart rate up! Plus buying from this company means you're helping a local business! Use code Cami for a discount!

4. Facial Steamer: With all beauty services closed I resorted to this at home facial steamer. Each night I will steam my face before washing to help open my pores and get a deep cleanse. I love to end my facial treatment with my favorite hydrating facial mask! It feels just like a spa day (kinda lol).

5. Yoga Mat + 3- 10lbs weights: Feeling stiff from sitting all day, or maybe stressed from this whole situation? You're not alone! Consider doing some yoga! Not only does yoga count as a physical activity, but yoga is shown to boost mood, lower stress, and lower anxiety. My favorite online yoga classes to tune into at the comfort of my own home is: CorePower Yoga on Demand, Pure Barre, and YouTube's Yoga with Adriene. Add the weights for an extra challenge!

I hope you enjoyed the first week of hopefully not many social distancing must haves! Between the workout equipment, anxiety relief, outdoor adventure, and self care- these items will get you through another week of COVID-19 quarantine.

xoxo,

Cami
