Nestled just outside the beautiful Yosemite National Park, is the most unique, fun, cozy, and incredibly Instagram-friendly, Autocamp Yosemite!
Let me be the first to tell you, I AM NOT A CAMPING KIND OF GIRL; however, Autocamp Yosemite is not your usual campground! It is the future of luxury modern camping AKA "glamping" (glorious camping), which is something I definitely can get behind! My weekend stay at Autocamp Yosemite was a dream and fully surpassed my high expectations.

Location
Autocamp Yosemite’s campground is tucked away in Midpines, California. It’s a 45 minute drive to reach the park entrance, which might sound far but keep in mind that the only other lodging options that are closer are campgrounds and RV parks. Plus, the drive is beyond beautiful. It's also good to note that the quant historic town of Mariposa is nearby & has some amazing restaurants, wine tasting, and breweries!
My Mariposa town favorites were: Sugar Pine Cafe, Charles Street Diner House, The Alley, The Hideout Saloon.
About the Property
Imagine the sound of campfires burning, beers being cracked open, pool water splashing, friends laughing while playing lawn games, and the smell of fresh grilled hotdogs & s'mores.
Autocamp Yosemite is a community atmosphere, and even though the property is large with
a total of 86 Airstreams, a few tiny-home style cabins, and a few luxury glamping tents they do a great job at making the property feel small by bringing people together with their inviting common spaces.
Common Spaces: The pool, dining area (complimentary breakfast & coffee/tea), the lobby's store, outdoor communal fire pits & sitting areas, lawn areas, and hiking trails

Coffee and breakfast are complimentary
There's a daily shuttle that takes you into Yosemite National Park
Pick up groceries before arriving. Although they have a store with the basics, the materials are limited and a little pricey!
There's free mountain bikes for you to use on a first-come first-served basis
Online check in /out for social distancing
The Autocamp store and front desk are open 24 hours, which is really convenient.
There’s complimentary (+GOOD) wifi throughout the entire campground.
Don’t forget your swimsuit! The pool is a nice place to cool off during the hot summer days.
Inside the Airstream
Each modern Airstream comes with everything one could possibly need + more!
Airstream Includes:
kitchen: mini fridge, microwave, full dining set, wine glasses, a french press with ground coffee, a cast iron skillet to cook over the fire pit
A bundle of fire safe wood for making a fire at night, an LED lantern for taking outside at night
Technology: T.v. with cable, air conditioning for the hot days and heat for the cold ones, a comfortable queen bed, built-in bluetooth speakers to bump your tunes, free premium wifi, lots of outlets!
Relaxation: Queen sized bed with Tempurpedic cooling mattress & pillows, a closet with robes, a futon couch, two big blankets to wrap up in at night, and a full spa-inspired bathroom with showers!
Inside the Tiny Home Suites
Just like the Airstream, the tiny home cabin suites have pretty much the same amenities, but the tiny home suites offer:
more space
higher ceilings
plenty of storage
ADA friendly
more of a private patio area.
My Final Thoughts on AutoCamp Yosemite
GO! GO! GO! Overall I highly recommend staying at Autocamp Yosemite because:
Autocamp Yosemite brings people together through its beautiful and inviting common spaces
The modern luxury amenities and services are unmatched
The location is unbeatable with daily shuttles to Yosemite National Park
Autocamp Yosemite truly thought of everything for making this Airstream glampground a wonderful place to enjoy the great outdoors.
